What a launch creates

You pick a name, a ticker, an image and a Hyperliquid market. Two pump.fun coins come out of it: NAME BULL and NAME BEAR. They share the ticker. BULL and BEAR are only in the name, so you can tell the coins apart.

You sign one transaction. It creates BULL and sends 0.02 SOL to a fresh vault wallet. The vault then creates BEAR itself, usually within a few seconds.

Where the fees go

The vault is the creator of both coins. pump.fun pays the creator fee from every trade on either coin to the creator, so both coins fill the same pot. That holds on the bonding curve and after the coin graduates to PumpSwap.

The vault collects the fees at the end of a round once at least 0.0005 SOL is waiting. Smaller amounts stay on chain until the next round.

How a round is decided

Rounds line up with the clock: :00, :05, :10 and so on, the same for every duel. Each round reads the 5 minute candle of that duel's market on Hyperliquid.

Close above open: the pot buys BULL. Close below open: the pot buys BEAR. Exactly the same price: nobody wins and the pot rolls over.

The buyback and burn

HyperDuel takes nothing from the pot. All of it is spent on the winning coin. The buy and the burn happen in one transaction, so the tokens never sit anywhere. Every burn links to its transaction.

If the pot is under 0.002 SOL it rolls over instead of buying dust. A small amount stays in the vault to pay for transactions and token accounts.

Risks

These are memecoins. A burn takes supply away, but it does not set a price and it can be outweighed by selling.

The site holds the vault key so it can run the rounds without anyone signing. The code only uses it to collect fees, buy, burn and pay rent. If the site stops, the fees stay in the vault and on pump.fun until it runs again.

Hyperliquid is the only price source. If it does not answer, the round is skipped and the pot waits for the next one.
